I started Lumen in 2022 while working at my home church. During that season, I thought "there are so many churches that need creative work done well", as that was a catalyst for our growth at the time; especially in the post-COVID world. I've seen churches with incredible vision fail to communicate it clearly and effectively. Today, pastors are carrying a real burden, ministries are doing real, life-changing work, and it's all hidden behind visuals that don't match the message. We are in revival, and the Church needs to make her message known. That's why we exist: to make sure it is. We primarily serve churches, but if you’re building a Kingdom-minded business, we'd still love to partner with you.

They had a couple logos and assets, but not a full identity system.


For five years, I had the honor of serving on staff full-time. I took the existing branding of the church – which was a logomark, typemark, and a kid's ministry logo – and transformed it into a full brand system. I designed the Youth and Young Adult ministry branding, worked with another designer on the Worship team branding, and introduced things like motion design, digital signage, and other key elements that are still in use today. I even worked with the Communications and Executive Teams on how the church presents itself in written and spoken media. Other work includes sermon bumpers, animated countdowns, music videos, and even environment/stage designs. What started as a foundation turned into a fully realized identity system.


When you know a church that well, you stop seeing a logo and start seeing a calling. That’s the standard we bring to every project.
